This is the question I asked myself when I was thinking about this new idea, of starting a blog.
The truth is: I jump from idea to idea, falling in love with the details of making the so said idea, of the passion of researching and pulling multiple references along the way, of the excitement in dreaming about the finish result; and when I have a folder full of images, texts and videos and should start working on the idea, I fall in love with another idea. Again and again. Repeatedly.
I tried different social medias, truly did. Instagram for a bit, then Tiktok, moved to BlueSky and made a Youtube account. At the beginning of these accounts, I became obsessed with it, checking and rechecking from minute to minute to see something, and now the accounts are there, dead and begging to be resurrected.
Yet, with my last hope of finding a place to call my own, I started this blog, this site where I can (and want) post every thought and project that comes to mind.
But hey? Who are you? I’m Lavi, a brazilian artist at the beginning of a concept art course and a digital games course, among other unrelated courses as well (only proving my point that I’m an all-over-the-place mess). My goal with this site, this blog, is to have a little place where I can post anything, any projects, ideas, or random thoughts, and also keep track of everything.
Still, this is a public site that anyone can find, and is with hope that I can only dream of influencing you a bit, helping you figure out whatever you want to figure out along with my process. Maybe you like seeing my art or maybe you are trying to learn to make games too. Who knows?
What can I expect to find here?
A bit of everything if I’m honest. Currently, I have 2 webcomic ideas, 1 world I want to construct more, small game ideas, and some portfolio arts I want to make, and I’m also participating in this year’s ArtFight.
You might have noticed the title has a “[INFO]” thing and that’s because it will be my way of tagging the type of post I’ll make (I have no idea how to use the tags on the site yet). If you look a bit to the left on this site, you’ll find the “How to find what you are looking for” page under the portfolio page; it should have a list of the major “tags” so you can search for them and find the related posts.
I might come back later and edit this, I’m at my 9th revision and every time I think of posting this, I want to put just a little more information.
If you are reading this on July 1st, 2025, this is the first version of this post and the site should look simple at the moment. Thank you for your attention and I hope you have the nicest day/nig
